Product Prospectus
Product Prospectus
1. The main topic is differences in the origins of Japanese and Greek mythology. My research question is “Where did Greek mythology originate from and how did it come to be?”
2. The final product will be made from Windows Movie Maker. It will be in a form of a documentary using pictures and possibly some video clips found online.3. We (Ben and I) have chosen this way to present the project because we could easily work on it at home without having to be with each other and also because it seemed the most appropriate way to present the ideas and information.4. The finished project will be in a video format and it will be comparing Greek and Japanese mythology. There will be two different sections, one for Greek and one for Japanese mythology. At the end of the video, comparisions will be made.
5. The project demonstrates mastery because finding video clips that is related to the topic is difficult. Not only that but also the amount of research and information needed to make the project informative and accurate. Comparing two very different countries to find similarites and differences in mythology is a challenge.
6. Task breakdown/work flow of project
-Find individual cites (research)
-Extract the information needed from cites
-When information is extracted, make the index cards (which go with the research)
-Find video clips online that we could use. (if possible)
-Find pictures related to the information found
-Compile both the video clips (if any) and pictures with our voices over the video.
-Add partner’s project into my own
-Edit/check for errors
-Turn in final project
7. Next actions to be taken on this project is to find information, do the index cards, daily posts and start to extract important information.

Daily Progress Post (Day 2)
-Answered questions on product prospectus 1-3. Talked about how to split the work, the main topic questions and our individual topic questions.
-Being able to find the information and plan out our actions will make it easier to do the project itself. One of the questions Ive answered on the Product Prospectus asks how the final product will look like. Answering that questions gives us an idea how it should look like when the project is finished.
-My next action is to continue to find more sites on my topic, answer some more questions, and to get the information and put it together. (just taking some notes)
