I believe this source because it shows you the references, gives data and once again it is a National site for snow and ice.

Overall I do believe this fact because in all the sites that I have found and read, they all use the measurement of CO2 in the ice to see how old it is. Also because they all bassically say the same thing, that the CO2 in the ice can determine how old the ice is and how long its been in there. With that it is easy to infer that CO2 can be trapped in ice.
